The Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Jairam Ramesh, said a study conducted by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, has found traces of uranium and other radioactive, heavy metals in the State’s groundwater.
