Titan Uranium Inc (CVE:TUE) announced that the US Bureau of Land Management has informed Titan that the Sheep Mountain project plan of operations is considered to be completed.
The press release is quoted as saying:
BLM’s notice of completeness comes only 4 weeks after supplemental data requested by BLM were submitted by Titan. The Plan has triggered a requirement under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for BLM to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which will now proceed and which BLM estimates will be completed by the end of 2012.
Titan’s President and CEO, Chris M. Healey says:
“This acceptance of our PoO as complete is a critical milestone in the permitting process for the mine. This acceptance keeps the project on schedule for production to commence in late 2013/early 2014.”
