    Spot Uranium Falls Below $52 per pound

    Platts reported the spot price of uranium has fallen in the past week trading below it’s previous baseline of $52 a pound.

    Platts reported the spot price of uranium has fallen in the past week trading below it’s previous baseline of $52 a pound.

    As quoted in the market news:

    TradeTech on Friday cut its weekly spot price to $51.80/lb, 20 cents below its price on February 24. TradeTech?s daily price on Monday also was $51.80/lb. The company said market activity remains slow, with neither buyers nor sellers showing “a strong willingness to move from their respective positions.”
