Pinetree Buys Stock in Tigris Uranium

Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX:PNP) announced it now owns 100,000 shares of Tigris Uranium Corp. (TSXV:TU).

As quoted in the press release:

As a result of this transaction, Pinetree held, as at March 9, 2012, an aggregate of 8,800,000 common shares of Tigris, including the Common Shares, and rights to acquire an additional 1,000,000 common shares of Tigris upon exercise of certain convertible securities (the “Convertible Securities”). In the event that the Convertible Securities are fully exercised, the holdings of Pinetree represents a total of 9,800,000 common shares of Tigris, or approximately 16.1% of all issued and outstanding common shares as at March 9, 2012, calculated on a partially diluted basis assuming the exercise of the Convertible Securities only.
