Northwest Manitoba Project Featured in The Northern Miner

The Northwest Manitoba project in the Athabasca Basin, CanAlaska Uranium’s (TSXV:CVV) joint venture with Northern Uranium (TSXV:UNO,OTC:NOURF) was featured in The Northern Miner. Northern Uranium has the option to gain an 80% interest in the project from CanAlaska via an $11.6-million, three-stage earn-in agreement.

Northern Uranium CEO Chad Ulansky, is quoted as saying:

When we were initially presented with the data we were surprised with how promising the results looked despite the fact the property is a fair way outside the current extent of the Athabasca basin. But the prior work really pointed to the fact that there is definitely high-grade uranium mineralization within that claim block, and there could be something world-class that’s right at surface.”
