Kivalliq Energy Corporation (TSXV:KIV) reports mineral assay results from diamond drilling along the structure hosting the high grade Lac Cinquante uranium deposit, Nunavut, Canada.

The press release is quoted as saying;

Assay results disclosed herein are from diamond drilling at the Lac Cinquante Main Zone and the Lac Cinquante Western Extension Zone.

  • High grade assays from Lac Cinquante deposit, include
    • 1.19% U3O8, 3.39% Cu, 0.56% Mo, 46.5 g/t Ag over 1.3 metres in hole 11-LC-001
    • 5.69% U3O8 over 0.2 metres at 241.6 metres down hole in 11-LC-008
  • 10 of initial 17 holes at Western Extension Zone intersected grades >0.25%, including
    • 2.25% U3O8 over 2.3 metres in hole 11-LC-036
    • 0.73% U3O8 over 1.7 metres in hole 11-LC-033
  • Western Extension strike length is 550 metres; zone remains open to depth
  • Assays are pending from both Western Extension and Eastern Extension
