The objective is to position the Company as a leader in the development of potential uranium resources in Uganda and East Africa, with an initial focus on supplying uranium for the production of nuclear energy for a domestic power supply. Uganda is significantly undersupplied with hydro-electric power, and has only limited capacity to expand this supply. Accordingly, clean, safe, and efficient nuclear energy could be an important underpinning for the industrialization and growth of the country.
