Greens Seek Action on Uranium Miner Safety

ABC News Online reported Senators will urge Australian Government to amend a law so uranium mine workers can track their exposure to radiation.

As quoted in the market news,

Greens Senator Scott Ludlam says workers at the Ranger uranium mine in the Territory are not on the National Radiation Dose Register.

Senator Ludlam says the Federal Government “handballed” the issue to the Territory Government so it could put workers on the register.
