EDF and Areva Confirm Uranium Supply Contract

Bloomberg reported Areva (EPA:AREVA) has signed a contract with Electricite de France (EPA:EDF) to supply the company with uranium from 2014-2030.

As quoted in the market news:

Areva SA will supply Electricite de France SA with as much as 20,000 metric tons of uranium over the period 2014 through 2030, the companies said in an e-mailed statement today.
