Ditem Explorations reports the beginning of the first phase of the summer exploration program on it’s Otish Uranium property, Quebec.
The first phase consists of ground geophysical surveys (including radiometrics and VLF) on specific areas of the property.
The current exploration program will be within the Otish sedimentary basin in which uranium is known to occur in faults and at or near the unconformity of the Otish sediments with the underlying Archean rocks. Results from recent Ditem drilling indicate that EM, magnetic and radiometric anomalies may notably be associated with altered zones in or at the contact of gabbro dykes and sediments.
