Commodities for 2012: Uranium Prevailing Over Uncertainty

Mining Weekly reported predicted performance of commodities for 2012 noting uranium is on the upswing after a dismal performance in 2011.

As quoted in the market news:

Uranium is another metal that is receiving some attention in early 2012, after enduring a dismal 2011, at least after the March Japanese nuclear disaster knocked the wind out of its sails.

Though the nuclear fuel was still trading at less than $55/lb in early January this year, share prices of the biggest Canadian producers were starting to show vital signs again.
