Cameco Receives License Renewal for Cigar Lake

Mining Weekly reported that CNSC has renewed the uranium mining license for Cameco (TSX:CCO, NYSE:CCJ) to proceed with the development of their Cigar Lake project in Saskatchewan.

As quoted in the Mining Weekly report:

In its application, Cameco sought authorisation to complete the final stages of commissioning at the facility, transition to operations, and commence shipping uranium ore slurry for further processing.
