Athabasca Uranium enters day of discovery

The Star Phoenix reports on the beginning of a multi-phase exploration program on the McGregor Lake and Webb River properties by Athabasca Uranium (TSXV:UAX).

The market news is quoted as saying:

Phase 1 of the program consists of a 2,740-kilometre heli-borne electromagnetic survey, which can identify vertical conductive anomalies at depth. The company hopes the survey will further refine anomalies already identified at the two properties. Pending positive results, Athabasca Uranium will proceed with Phase 2′s ground survey program and then Phase 3, for diamond drill testing on high-priority targets
