Valero Plans to Buy Chevron’s UK Oil Refinery

Reuters reports Valero Energy Corp (NYSE:VLO) intends to buy Chevron’s (NYSE:CVX.N) British refinery for about $2 billion.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Chevron has been seeking a buyer for its last European plant, in Pembroke, Wales, for almost a year.
