    Bloomberg reports that the UK intends to allow Cuadrilla and other companies to resume shale gas drilling, after their operations caused two earthquakes last year, and prompted a suspension of activity.

    As quoted in the market report:

    Cuadrilla says the shale rock it is exploring in northwest England has more gas than all of Iraq. Lawmakers in Britain’s ruling Conservative Party are pushing development of the industry as a way to limit energy-prices and reduce reliance on fossil fuel imports.
