U.S. Gas Futures Rise on Colder Weather

Reuters reported that U.S. gas futures rose slightly on Wednesday, spurred on by colder weather.

As quoted in the market report:

Jonathan Lee, an energy procurement consultant at Ecova Inc.in Washington, said power outages put a dent in gas-fired power demand this week, but traders were weighing the impact of nuclear plant outages, which are running well above normal.
