Snam RG Interested in GDF Italy Gas Network

Reuters reported that Snam RG (BIT:SRG) has expressed interest in gas network assets currently owned by GDF Suez (EPA:GSZ).

The market news is quoted as saying:

Financial sources said in February that GDF Suez was exploring the sale of its Italian gas distribution assets after completing its takeover of Britain’s International Power Plc.
