Shell’s Brazil Oil Production in December Plummets 35%

Bloomberg reported that the Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s oil production in Brazil dropped 35% in December at 48,499 barrels per day, compared to the previous year.

As quoted in the market news:

Shell dropped to third place among crude producers in Brazil in July, after being overtaken by Statoil ASA. (STL) State-controlled Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PETR4), or Petrobras, is the largest producer.
