Polish Watchdog Clears Exxon, Hutton Energy Shale Gas Ventures

Bloomberg reported that UOKiK passed joint ventures of Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:XOM) and Hutton Energy Plc. to drill for shale gas in Poland.

As quoted in the market news:

Under a deal signed in August, Exxon will transfer 49 percent stakes in four exploration licences in Poland’s Podlasie basin to Hutton.
