Pemex’s First Quarter Profit Surged 33.9 Billion Mexican Pesos

Reuters Africa reported Pemex’s first quarter profit surged 33.9 billion Mexican pesos ($2.65 billion).

As quoted in the market news:

Prices for Mexican crude rose 20.6 percent to an average of $111.10 per barrel for the quarter, helping boost revenues 16.6 percent to 411.3 billion pesos even as exports fell 10 percent.
