Production at Neste Oil’s Porvoo refinery has started after planned maintenance shutdown, which took around six weeks in total.
The press release is quoted as saying:
Regular maintenance turnarounds every four to six years play an important part in keeping operations at Neste Oil’s refineries safe and running at peak efficiency. The turnaround was the largest in the refinery’s history. It involved close to a million man-hours of work and employed some 2,500 people from outside contractors on site.
