Natural Gas Advances on Revised Forecasts of Cooler Weather

Bloomberg reports that natural gas futures surged for a third day in New York.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Gas futures gained as much as 0.7 percent as a midday update to the government’s Global Forecasting System weather model predicted below-normal temperatures beginning March 18 in the eastern Midwest and Southeast. Earlier outlooks had signaled warmer-than-normal weather in those regions.
