Exxon Mobil And Chevron May Purchase Chesapeake Energy

Forbes reported that Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) and Chevron (NYSE:CVX) may purchase Chesapeake Energy.

As quoted in the market news:

Chesapeake has lost 30% of its market value since the beginning of 2012 as low gas prices and governance issues are taking a toll on the company’s stock price.
