European Gas Supplies Still Hooked into Oil Prices

Reuters reported that for much of Europe, including Norway, the UK and the Netherlands, much of the gas supplies are still linked to the price of oil.

As quoted in the market report:

Europe’s natural gas supplies are still mostly paid for by contracts that are linked to the price of oil, despite moves by utilities to switch payments towards prices based on openly traded gas hubs, Reuters research shows.
