Colombia’s Ecopetrol Says More Oil Found At Cano Sur Block

Fox Business announced that Colombia’s state-controlled energy company Ecopetrol SA (NYSE:EC) reported a new oil field in the eastern section of the Cano Sur contract.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The new finding brings to four the number of oil discoveries by Ecopetrol in the Cano Sur block this year. Of those, the most productive is the one announced Monday, as the others showed daily production of around 100 barrels to 300 barrels.
