China First-Quarter Gas Imports More Than Double, NDRC Says

Bloomberg reported that imports of natural gas to China were twice as high as the same period a year ago.

The market news is quoted as saying:

China wants to triple the use of natural gas to about 10 percent of its energy consumption by 2020 as it cuts reliance on more-polluting coal.
