BP Gets Access to Transocean Spill Insurance

Bloomberg reported that BP Plc won a bid to access the $750M insurance of Transocean Ltd to pay the costs of the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

As quoted in the market news:

The U.S. Court of Appeals in New Orleans yesterday reversed a decision by U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier barring BP from using the policies.
