EMC Metals Adds James Rothwell to Board of Directors

EMC Metals Corp. (TSX:EMC) announced the appointment of Mr. James R. Rothwell to the EMC Board as an independent Director.

As quoted in the press release:

Jim was instrumental in the formation of an independent marketing channel for diamonds in Antwerp. He has served on minerals industry associations in Australia, the USA and Canada. Jim has a BA (Economics) and an MBA (Finance/Accounting) from Stanford University.

EMC Metals CEO, George Putnam, said:

We are very pleased to have Jim join the EMC Board as an independent Director. He brings considerable additional experience to the Board regarding project development and operations management, but most particularly, his career-spanning global minerals marketing experiences will be hugely beneficial to the EMC team as we develop our global scandium business from Australia.
