Wolf Minerals Limited (ASX:WLF) has been granted “minded to” status for its Waste Facility Environmental Permit, a key milestone in the environmental permitting process for its Hemerdon tungsten and tin project in Devon, Southwest England.

As quoted in the press release:

The Waste Facility Environmental Permit is the final major permit required in the development of the Hemerdon project.

Wolf submitted its Waste Facility Environmental Permit application to the UK government’s principal environmental body for England, the Environment Agency (EA), in May 2013. The EA has conducted a two month public consultation period and has received reviews by partner organisations such as Natural England, Devon County Council and others.

As a result of this process the EA now has sufficient information to publish a draft permit. The draft permit is currently undergoing a one month public consultation period which started on 11 November 2013, after which a final decision on the grant of the permit will be made.
