    US Presses End of Conflict Minerals Use

    The use of the so-called ‘conflict minerals’ like tungsten, tin, tantalum and gold, has been the cause of violence in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.  The Obama administration has prompted the American industries to stop the use of the conflict minerals.
