Solomon Resources Limited (TSXV:SRB) reported that it has obtained an initial inventory of its minesites in the Rurembo Prospecting Licence area in Rwanda. The Rurembo project is a grassroots exploration program for tungsten and other mineralization.
As quoted in the press release:
As many of the artisanal workings were found to be operating without permits, production records for these sites were not readily accessible. Government records appear to be incomplete and, in many cases, the boundaries of licenced artisanal operations were found to be inconsistent with permit boundaries. In addition, many of the artisanal workings at higher elevations were found to be inactive, largely due to access issues or the absence of water during the dry season that is required for sluicing.
