Jiuquan Steel acquires 45pct stake in Xinzhou Mining

Steelguru.com reports that a 45% stake in tungsten ore mining company Xinzhou Mining was acquired by Xinzhou Mining.  Both are located in  the Gansu Province region of China.

The story is quoted as saying:

Xinzhou Mining, established in 2005 has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes of tungsten ore. Mr Wei Zhibin Jiuquan Steel general manager stated that work on the development of tungsten ore production at Xinzhou Mining would be stepped up.
