Happy Creek Minerals(TSXV:HPY) announced receiving the results of the 2011 geochemical surveys carried out at the Company’s Hen and Art-DL properties. The Company is currently finalizing exploration plans for 2012, the exploration program is expected to commence by Q2, 2012.
As quoted in the press release:
In total, 708 soil, 20 stream sediment (silt) and 21 rock samples were collected. Rock samples contain from less than 0.01 to 1.04 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, less than 0.01 to 17.7 g/t silver and 2.8 to 1,300 parts per million (ppm) copper.
Happy Creek, President and CEO, David Blann, said:
Our Hen and Art-DL properties have several styles of mineralization with gold and silver. On the Hen property we have previously trenched 4.0 metres of 2.08 g/t gold, with grab samples up to 35 g/t gold. In 2010,on the Art-DL property we drilled 72.5 metres of 4.0 g/t silver including 20.0 metres of 8.5 g/t silver in a zone that occurs from surface. The 2011 results have expanded the area containing positive results and additional exploration is planned.
