Rare Earth Industries Expands Its Land Position in Colorado with Acquisition of Former Tantalum/Beryllium Producing Property

EON reports Rare Earth Industries (TSXV:RND) reports it is working on its Turret Mines tantalum prospect.

The market news is quoted as saying,

According to the USGS Professional Paper 227, the Turret district, which lies in and around RND’s claim block, has, since the late 1800s, supported a variety of mining operations, including gold, iron ore, marble, mica, beryl, niobium and tantalum, with production coming from the pegmatites in this district. The Turret Mines property was extensively explored in the 1950s and early 1960s for tantalum, niobium and beryllium by U.S. Beryllium Corp; the property was dropped after the death of its president.
