Pilbara Minerals Reports Lithium-Tantalum Intercepts From Drilling at Monster Prospect
Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) recently reported drill results from its resource extension and infill drilling program at its wholly owned Pilgangoora lithium-tantalum project in Western Australia. Exploration drilling at the Monster Prospect, a satellite area located two kilometers north of the central western pegmatites, has returned high-grade mineralization thus far.

Exploration drilling at the Monster Prospect, a satellite area located two kilometers north of the central western pegmatites, has returned high-grade mineralization thus far.
As quoted in the press release:
Three significant intersections have been returned so far at Monster, namely:
- 21m @ 1.53% Li2O and 143 ppm Ta2O5 from 4m down-hole (PLS282);
- 17 m @ 1.54% Li2O and 151 ppm Ta2O5 from 25m down-hole (PLS283); and
- 10m @ 2.58% Li2O and 231 ppm Ta2O5 from 7m down-hole (PLS286).
