U.S. Looking Carefully at China Rare Earth Policy

Marketwatch reported that the United States is trying to encourage China to relax its rare earth export restrictions.

The market news is quoted as saying:

“We are looking very carefully in working on the rare-earths issue in a variety of contexts,” said Tim Reif, general counsel at the United States Trade Representative’s office.
