Study to Search for Rare Earths in Dominican Republic National Park

Dominican today reported that universities from Spain and the US will work with other organizations to search for rare earth ores in Sierra de Bahoruco in the Dominican Republic.

As quoted in the publication:

Quoted by local media, the researchers said the project aims to investigate the presence of rare earth in Sierra de Bahoruco’s bauxite, a process they note would take about four years of exploration.
