Rare Earth Hunt Turns to Retired Arizona Mines

KVOA.com reported that some of Arizona’s retired mines may be revived in the hunt for rare earths.

As quoted in the market report:

We’re finding that [the minerals] do get carried along into copper deposits in particular and we know in Arizona that we have rare earths in our copper deposits,” said Mary Poulton of the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources at the U of A.
