Cache Exploration Inc.(TSXV:CAY) reported exploration updates for its Nunavut Canadian REE and Uranium project. The Company identified new uranium and rare earth targets after the 2011 summer exploration program at the property.

As quoted in the press release:

Significant Uranium and Rare Earth Element mineralization was identified in the PP8186 and PP8187 group located approximately 115 km north-northeast of Baker Lake; a total of 31 samples were collected and analyzed. Within PP8186, an angular granitic boulder, likely frost heaved, with up to 12,000 counts per second (CPS) as measured by the RS-125 spectrometer yielded 0.200% U3O8.

Cache Exploration, CEO, George Brown, said:

The Company feels that these are very encouraging results for the first exploration program on the significantly large area of Prospecting Permits only granted to Cache in 2011. The Company looks forward to further exploration programs aimed at further defining these Uranium and Rare Earth targets.
