As quoted in the market news:

The elements that were discovered included dysprosium, which extends the temperature range in which a magnet can be used. [CTO] Burba said the market for dysprosium is very small, with only 2,000 metric tons globally produced in a year. Molycorp also discovered terbium and europium, which are primarily used to transmit green and red colors, respectively, on a smartphone or computer screen. Terbium also potentially can be used in magnets.
