Matamec Exploration’s Kipawa Deposit update

Matamec Explorations Inc.(TSX VENTURE:MAT) reported that assay results have been received for the final third group of core samples from the November-December 2009 diamond drilling program on the West and East part of the rare earth-yttrium-zirconium (REE-Y-Zr) Kipawa deposit located within the Zeus property.

The press release is quoted as saying:

Matamec explores for significant gold deposits in the Timmins mining camp in Ontario of which the Matheson Property (with Goldcorp) is the main target. In Quebec, the Company explores for precious and base metals on its Sakami, Valmont and Vulcain Properties.
