China Cuts Rare Earth Export Quotas Again

Business Insider reported that China’s announcement of its first half 2012 rare earth export quotas is 27% lower than the same period last year.

In its latest quota, the Commerce Ministry said exporters will be allowed to sell 10,546 tons of rare earths in the first half of 2012.
