Largo Resources Gets Final Operating Licence for Maracas Menchen

Largo Resources (TSXV:LGO) announced it has received its operating licence to start production at its Maracas Menchen mine in Brazil. The company had received a preliminary operating licence in May 2014 which allowed it to start production ramp-up with the new licence providing the definitive operating licence for production.

Largo Resources (TSXV:LGO) announced it has received its operating licence to start production at its Maracas Menchen mine in Brazil. The company had received a preliminary operating licence in May 2014 which allowed it to start production ramp-up with the new licence providing the definitive operating licence for production.

According to the press release:

The Company received a preliminary operating license (“L.P.O.”) in May 2014 (see press release dated May 20, 2014) in order to commence the production ramp-up and adjust the system as necessary. The L.O. now provides the definitive operating license for production at the Maracas Menchen Mine.

The receipt of the L.O. indicates that the plant was built, and is operating, according to its design specifications and environmental guidelines. The L.O. is valid for 2 years at which time it may be renewed for extension within 6 months of the L.O.’s expiry date for an additional 2-5 years.
