Sources told MetalBulletin on Aug. 28 that ferro-vanadium is no longer available in Europe at prices below $26 per kg, delivered.
As quoted in the market news:
“The first offer is at $26, the next is at $26.10 and so on, until everybody offers $26.50 for 10 tonnes in the end,” a trader said. “There’s less material around, but there’s not really any demand. If we get a bit more demand, prices could go up further,” he added.
