    As quoted in the market news:

    Last week, BHP Billiton announced the temporary shutdown of silico-manganese and ferro-manganese production at its Tasmanian TEMCO plant, while the week before Samancor Manganese permanently halted production of SiMn at its South African Metalloys plant.
