Giyani Appoints Country Manager and Opens Office in Botswana

Giyani Metals Corporation (TSXV:WDG) (GR:A2DUU8) (“Giyani” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kneipe Setlhare as country manager. He will be based out of Giyani’s new regional office in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana.
As Giyani’s country manager in Botswana, Mr. Setlhare will ensure that the Company meets all requirements to maintain compliance with government regulations, obtain necessary approvals in a timely manner, and manage local third party contractors. Additionally, Mr. Setlhare will supervise the development of the Company’s Kanye manganese project, including the upcoming field program, and manage relationships with the local communities.
Mr. Kneipe Setlhare graduated from the University of Botswana and is a mining engineer with over 12 years of experience in mining operations management, including roles with BCL Mines and Smelting, and Discovery Metals Limited. He is also a director of Marcelle Holdings who vended 12 manganese licences to Giyani in 2017.
The office in Gaborone will provide Giyani with necessary logistical and legal infrastructure to establish itself as a credible mining company that is well positioned to contribute to the development and diversification of the Botswana mining sector.
