The press release is quoted as saying:

Preliminary down hole geophysical data have been received and indicate porosity values generally ranging from 20 to 60%, with an average value for all surveyed holes of 38.4%. This figure represents the void space that is potentially occupied by lithium-rich brines within the mineralized aquifers.

The true silver investor, the one who buys and holds physical silver, has mostly definitely not waited on the Fed to get an "...indication of the Fed's position on further QE". We know that they have and are creating trillions of fiat dollars in secret and will continue to do so, despite what they publicly have to say about QE or not. We also know that the illegal and blatant downward manipulation of the silver market via paper is still pretty much in the order of the day. If you think us silver bugs have/are waiting on direction from the likes of the Fed, than you're sadly mistaken. We're acquiring more and more physical silver while the rest of the market gets excited or misdirected by absolute tripe and BS.
