Mining Weekly reports that Reed Resources (ASX:RDR) announced a 38% increase in the mineral resource estimate at the Mount Marion lithium project, in Western Australia.

The press release is quoted as saying:
Lithium (Li2O), iron oxide (Fe2O5) and potassium oxide (K2O) were all estimated by ordinary block kriging. The Mineral Resource has been reported and classified in accordance with the 2004 JORC guidelines and code.
