Pure Energy Minerals Limited (TSXV:PE,FWB:AHG) reported that GeoXplor Corp. has commenced a detailed gravity geophysical survey of the Clayton Valley, Nevada lithium brine prospects. A downhole geophysical survey will also be performed in the recently drilled CV-01 borehole.

As quoted in the press release:

The detailed gravity survey will be located in the northern part of Pure Energy’s brine prospects, and will refine the shape and extent of the target basin identified in a previous gravity survey, as well as identifying potential bounding geological features that may serve to contain the brine deposits. The downhole geophysical work will consist of natural gamma, dual induction and fluid resistivity surveys, and will increase Pure Energy’s understanding of brine distribution and relationship to lithology. GeoXplor Corp. will contract Hasbrouck Geophysics to interpret the data compiled during the gravity survey. Southwest Exploration Services LLC will conduct and interpret the downhole geophysical survey.
