Pan American Lithium:Time Extension for Chilean Resource Estimate Study

Pan American Lithium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PL) reported that the company is expected to deliver by the end of March 2010, the results of a study at its 100% owned Laguna Verde salar lake in Atacama Region III, Chile, in order to develop an inferred resource estimate for lithium content compliant with National Instrument 43-101.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The major earthquake last weekend in the country of Chile has disrupted transportation to and services within the country. Even though Pan American’s projects are over 1000 kilometres distant from the damaged areas, and are otherwise unaffected, the Company has adjusted its timeline and now anticipates that the Laguna Verde resource estimate will be completed by April 30, 2010.
